Symptom and description
Your Phase unit is ready to be used: your Remotes are linked to the Receiver, they are calibrated (their LEDs are solid) and spinning on your decks, yet you cannot hear your tracks playing from Serato DJ Pro. Let's make sure all the setup steps are met.
Issue resolution
Phase can be used in HID mode, without RCA cables. We recommend using this mode to get the best experience when using Phase with Serato DJ Pro.
Head to this dedicated article to learn the detailed setup steps to use Phase with Serato in HID mode.
If you are using regular DVS mode, please check the following points to make sure everything is properly configured to use Phase with Serato DJ Pro.
- Make sure that Serato's audio preferences are set on Line/CD inputs.
- Some mixers require Serato to be configured in "CDJ" mode (Audio tab) to receive audio from "CD/Line" inputs (like the Pioneer DJM-S9 or the Reloop Elite).
- Make sure that the Serato virtual decks are both on "Relative" (REL) mode.
- Start the turntables to spin the Remotes, then open the Serato settings. Adjust balances L/R & P/A to get a perfect circle (i.e., optimum performances). We also recommend setting the noise sensitivity threshold between -48 and -24.
