Remote shutdown time
When the Receiver is powered and the Remotes placed into the docks, unplugging the unit will shut down the Remotes within a couple seconds.
The Remote shutdown slider is useful if you forget to put the Remotes back into the Receiver in between two sets. For instance, you unplugged the Receiver and went away from the turntables, but the Remotes are still up and running, so their battery will drain. The Remote shutdown feature allows you to automatically shut down the Remotes when the Receiver has been turned off with the Remotes outside their docks.
Let's take a practical example. Imagine the Remote shutdown slider is set to 2 minutes. You just finished your set, so you unplug the Phase and walk away for a moment. You forgot to place the Remotes back into the Receiver to turn them off. Thanks to the Remote shutdown feature, they will turn off anyway after two minutes. This will allow you to save battery and play longer before you need to charge the Remotes.

"Boost radio" feature
The “Boost radio” switch allows you to increase the transmission power of the Remotes. By default, the feature is turned off. Indeed, the radio transmission level is automatically adjusted according to the quality of the communication between the Remotes and the Receiver, in order to save battery.
When the feature is turned on, the Remote will emit to the maximum level all the time, but its battery will drain much faster.
